My specialty is Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which are present and future-focused approaches to creating change. MET is a fantastic therapy approach for individuals who are looking to reach goals and make lasting changes in their life.

​I graduated from the University of Miami with my Masters in Education in 2006.Through clinical roles in behavioral medicine at the Boston University School of Medicine and Brown University (Warren Alpert School of Medicine) I received formal training and certification in Motivational Interviewing and MITI (motivational interviewing treatment integrity). My most recent clinical research position in 2020 used motivational interviewing with liver patients at UNC Chapel Hill to help attend to physical and mental health.
